After listening to feedback from contractors about its popular RY10 PRO Crack Seal Melter, the company made adjustments. 1. Optimized Kettle
The kettle of the RY10 Elite has been optimized for convenience and safety. It now holds up to 60 pounds of crack fill (two 30-pound bricks), a 30% increase in capacity from previous models.
You’ll also notice a slight forward lean. That’s intentional, to keep any accidental spillage away from the machine’s operator. And with a lid that now opens front to back, rather than side to side, users can fill the kettle from three sides, making its positioning more flexible.
2. One-Of-A-Kind RynoValve
The stainless steel valve is perhaps the most important update on the RY10 Elite. It’s the industry’s first that doesn’t require preheating.
Maintenance has been simplified as well, not just because the valve, now outside the kettle, keeps hot material inside, but it’s also easy to remove. Unscrew the four bolts and drop the entire apparatus into your preferred cleaning solution. Dry it, and latch it back on.
Finally, the spreader shoe has been designed to go forward and backward, which prevents puddling—a nuisance contractors will be happy to avoid.
3. New Central Dash
All elements of control for the RY10 Elite are right at your fingertips with the updated dash. The digital thermometer is the first thing you’ll notice as you take the handles—no more struggling to read temperatures on a vibrating machine.
Then there’s the burner starter and igniter, located on opposite sides of the dash. Everything is centrally located, with an added level of protection provided by the handlebars.
